Wei Ling’s practice encompasses a broad spectrum of corporate law, securities law and funds related matters. In addition to providing legal and regulatory advice, her transactional experience includes establishment of private funds, initial public offerings and secondary offerings in respect of real estate investment trusts, business trusts and companies. In the private funds space, she has also worked on the establishment of variable capital companies under the Singapore Variable Capital Companies Act which came into force in 2020. Other corporate transactions that she works on include corporate reorganisations, mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures.

As a Singapore qualified lawyer with close to 20 years of experience, she has acted for fund managers, investors, banks, corporates, family offices, amongst others, in a broad range of matters. Wei Ling had previously practised in the Singapore office of a “magic circle” law firm for 10 years. Although largely based in Singapore, she had also spent part of her legal career in the Beijing office of another leading international law firm.
